1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Conduit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Conduit provides virtual phone number services including:

• US and UK phone numbers (more countries planned)
• Call forwarding to any phone number worldwide
• SMS to email forwarding
• Voicemail
• Account sharing with a teammate

Some features, such as browser-based web calling and call recording, are in development and may not be available to all accounts.

3. Account Registration

To use Conduit, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account and sign-in
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Conduit to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Send spam, make fraudulent calls, or engage in harassment
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal activity
• Violate telecommunications regulations in any jurisdiction

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

5. Phone Number Regulations

Phone number provisioning is subject to local telecommunications regulations. You agree to:

• Provide accurate identity and address information when required
• Comply with verification requirements for regulated countries
• Use phone numbers only for lawful purposes

Number availability and features may vary by country due to regulatory requirements.

6. Billing and Payments

Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually based on your chosen plan. Pricing is flat — each plan includes a talk-minute allowance and there are no per-minute or overage charges. When you reach your allowance, calls roll to voicemail. You agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your account
• Keep payment information current and accurate

We use Stripe for payment processing. Your payment information is handled according to Stripe's terms of service.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

• Access continues until the end of your current billing period
• Phone numbers are released after cancellation and may return to the pool

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions or outages
• Delays or failures in call or message delivery
• Issues caused by third-party providers

9. Intellectual Property

Conduit and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our software
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service
• Use our trademarks without permission

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONDUIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conduit from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
