Account Information

  • Email address (used for passwordless magic-link sign-in)
  • Payment information (handled by Stripe, not stored by us)

Phone Number Information

  • Your Conduit phone number(s)
  • Forwarding destination numbers you configure
  • Address information (required for regulatory compliance)
  • Identity documents (only when required by country regulations)

Usage Data

  • Call metadata: caller ID, recipient, timestamp, duration
  • SMS metadata: sender, recipient, timestamp
  • Feature usage for billing purposes

What We Do NOT Collect

  • Call audio by default — recordings are stored only when you turn on call recording (a Pro feature), and even then we don't listen to or review your call content
  • SMS message content beyond what's needed to forward it
  • Location data beyond address for regulatory compliance

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Conduit service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Forward calls and messages to your configured destinations
  • Comply with telecommunications regulations
  • Send service-related notifications
  • Respond to support requests

3. Information Sharing

We share information only in these cases:

  • Service Providers: Twilio (telecommunications), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and database)
  • Regulatory Requirements: When required for phone number provisioning
  • Legal Obligations: When required by law or valid legal process

We never sell your personal information. We don't share your data with advertisers or marketing companies.

4. Data Security

We protect your data with:

  • TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Passwordless magic-link sign-in — no passwords to store or leak
  • Secure database infrastructure
  • Regular security reviews

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active, then deleted after account deletion
  • Call logs: Retained for your reference
  • Call recordings (Pro): Retained for a limited period, then automatically deleted
  • SMS content: Forwarded, not retained beyond what's needed
  • Regulatory documents: Retained as required by law

10. Children's Privacy

Conduit is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
